We are looking for an outstanding software developer to join our innovative, highly motivated team in a contract role. We need solid, trustworthy, and reliable individuals who take ownership of and have pride in the quality of their work. The ideal candidate has a passion for programming, is technically and analytically focused, is self-motivated but works well in a team, and has excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Skills required

•  Developing code to the highest quality aligned to standards of defined architecture, design, security, usability, operational fitness, documentation and performance.  

•  Work as part of a team to design, develop and unit test carefully thought-out solutions to satisfy business requirements  

•  Self-motivated and enthusiastic with good organizational skills.  

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while working as part of a team  

•  Observe, learn, and participate in the following:  
   
  •  Efficiently maintain and enhance existing systems to a high quality  
  •  Facilitate and contribute to product delivery using Aspen Grove’s Agile Methodology. 
  •  A willingness to learn new skills and techniques. 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Software Engineering
• Experience using either:
  
  • UX patterns such as Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS,
    ETL 
  •  Programming languages: .net, C#, Python, SQL 
  •  Data Patterns - On Prem and Cloud, Data Modelling, Data Visualization 
• Knowledge of program management and software development practices.
• Awareness of Agile project work and Scrum Master experience are advantages.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proven experience in recognizing issues, risks, dependencies, and mitigating appropriately
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
•  Attain experience working with diverse teams in multiple locations. 
•  A motivated team player who is open to following direction and can work with all levels within Aspen. 
•  Friendly and punctual with an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
•  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
